Thumbly Keyboard App Reviews

Ive tried this app for the past three days and find it to take me longer using it than my regular keyboard. The buttons are way too small causing constant errors with few correct words being suggested. Until these issues are corrected Id rather use the original keyboard which is more responsive.

No predictive text like Swype? No thanks. Thankfully it was on sale for nothing.

Like the idea but the keys are too small (seem roughly a quarter the size of the default keyboard keys) for my thumbs so Im constantly fat-fingering everything.

This is a great idea. The keys are orientated in a way that when you have one hand only free, you can still send a quick text. I agree with users that the keys are too small and not very receptive. Many mistakes and poor auto correct. I will keep it awaiting the updates.

Typing this review with the thumbly keyboard. Two changes would make it 5 stars. 1) orient the letters to be vertical. I have to hold the phone at an angle to type. 2) should include accented characters when holding down a letter.

I never leave reviews, so congratulations on making a unique app that caught my attention. My only issue with it is that though it looks cool, the different direction of all the letters is a bit discombobulating. If you either make all the letters vertical or make the character preview larger I would have no complaints and change to five star. Great concept and functionality though

I like the concept also, but the keyboard is way too small. I keep hitting the wrong letters.

Its a good concept. However the letters are too small and you have to focus really hard to ensure no errors. Hopefully the next update will fix such issues.

I agree with others that say the letters on the keys should be straight up and down for ease of reading... Otherwise, cool idea.

I like the idea and even am okay that the keys are small, but the autocorrect is worse than ever and I have to be very precise to type and have the write words show up. Too painful to use. Going back to the regular keyboard.

This app idea is genius but it has to be executed better.the letters being tilted may look cool but it actually is difficult to type with.also the letter spacing make it hard to hit the right key.if you can make these adjustments and improve the autocorrect or suggestions it would be a winner!!!

Its cool but Ive deleted the app. Its too hard to use.

Agree with other review about the vertical preview.. And wheres the dash?

I like the this keyboard, it just needs a couple slight alterations. My complaints are pretty much the same as everyone elses; the keys are too small and the letters should stand vertically on the keys to make it easier to process them. My other complaint is that it might help if the whole keyboard were moved over just a bit. I get that its supposed to be for one handed use, but the keys closest to the side of the phone are kind of difficult to use one handed. At least for me. Its just a little uncomfortable because my thumb is all squished and tweaked if Im trying to hit the delete, return, caps, etc. The idea of this keyboard is really great though!

Great idea, but even with my small fingers, its a struggle to hit the right letters. With some improvement, this could be an excellent keyboard for one-handed typing. I concur with the other reviews looking for the letters to be re-oriented and the auto correct to be improved.

Hard to find the ? When I do it follows it with a . even when I go back and fix it. Does not auto capital sentences, does not have Siri button. Good idea, but its not worth using or buying in current format. Suggestions: Hold down . to get ? ! Add Siri button even if on the opposite side from keyboard. Add a quick button to go back to main keyboard skipping other keyboards. Auto capitalize first letter after period. For now, Ill stick with 2 thumbs or Siri.

Cons: Keys are too small Swipe to delete is a bad idea Auto correct is horrible No swipe to type Useless on smaller phones No themes Pros: A great idea is worth three stars, and its proper implementation is the remaining two states. The implementation needs to improved for this keyboard to even be viable.
